Chelsea fans on Twitter rubbish suggestions of a striker problem

Chelsea fans have been having an up and down season so far under Maurizio Sarri and things are only set to get tougher over the summer transfer window. The Blues won’t be able to sign any new players given their transfer ban, and Calcio Mercato has claimed that Gonzalo Higuain won’t be staying at the club, which could leave the Blues short.
Chelsea could be severely lacking strikers come the summer…

The article claims that Maurizio Sarri is a target for Roma as their new manager, and if he does end up leaving Stamford Bridge then the chances are Gonzalo Higuain will go with him. If the Blues do lose out on Higuain, the worries are that Stamford Bridge could be short of a couple of frontmen, although the supporters have been quick to rubbish that claim by listing the forwards they have.
The Blues have got Olivier Giroud on their books at the moment, even if his time at Chelsea hasn’t been electric. Then, with both Tammy Abraham and Michy Batshuayi out on loan at the moment, the Blues have another couple of goal-getters who can be relied upon. The fans are certainly not too worried, and they don’t see why anyone else should be as they’ll be targetting a top-four spot in the 2019/20 season.

Abraham and bats back from loan not hard to resolve

The Blues are more than prepared for life after Higuain, and considering his lack of goals since he’s come in it will hardly be a loss for them anyway.
