Chelsea: Fans on Twitter were delighted with clean sheet against Brighton and Hove Albion

Chelsea fans have reacted with sheer delight on Twitter after the Blues managed to keep a clean sheet against Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday afternoon.

In truth, Kepa Arrizabalaga was hardly tested throughout the encounter at Stamford Bridge as a Jorginho penalty and a deflected Willian shot were enough to give Frank Lampard’s side all three points.

In fact, the visitors only managed to have eight shots on the Spaniard’s goal, with just one of those attempts forcing the ‘keeper to make a save (per Sky Sports).

The Blues have conceded 13 goals in their seven top-flight matches so far, putting them only ahead of Norwich City and Watford in the standings for most conceded (Premier League official website).

Following the conclusion of the game, many of the club’s faithful took to Twitter to share their delight with the clean sheet, with some suggesting that it was their greatest achievement for quite some time.

Here are just some of those reactions…
