Chelsea fans have a right to be annoyed after yesterday. Not only did they suffer their worst defeat in 28 years at the hands of Manchester City, but they also went another 90 minutes without seeing any of Callum Hudson-Odoi. After being denied a move to Bayern Munich the winger was left out of the matchday squad, and the fans weren’t happy.
The team news is in!

The exciting youngster was subject of a number of bids from the German giants over the January window, yet Maurizio Sarri’s side refused to budge and kept him at Stamford Bridge. However, that decision is looking increasingly like one that could impact the player’s development as he’s yet to start a Premier League game for the club this season and it seems clear he wants out.
It’s no surprise to see a player like Hudson-Odoi wanting to leave Chelsea. The Blues have an awful track record when it comes to handling young players, and with more loanees than goals conceded yesterday, you simply cannot blame Hudson-Odoi for trying to get out. If he doesn’t get a run of starts sooner or later you won’t be able to blame him when he forces a move in summer, and the fans understand that.
You can read the Blues’ frustrations at Hudson-Odoi’s continued woes here:
No Hudson Odoi…. A bit dissapointment

No Hudson-Odoi again is quite frustrating. He HAS to start midweek.

We turn down Hudson Odoi transfer request and £35 million bid for him just so that he can’t even feature in a match day squad. This club is disgusting

Transfer window has passed, CHO is no longer on the bench. In January he either played or came off the bench. Smh

Just let CHO go
— Samuel (@sam_dizo) 10 February 2019
If we want to keep cho at least put him on the bench ffs

The Blues cannot understand why their bright young winger doesn’t get the chances he deserves and will be desperate to see him feature on Thursday against Malmo.
