Chelsea: Fans heap praise on Kurt Zouma for improvement since worrying start to season

Chelsea have won their last nine games in all competitions and Kurt Zouma has played a massive part in that run of form. He’s started and played the full 90 minutes in eight of them and has kept the defence tight, conceding just six goals, and that’s a huge improvement from the start of the season.
Zouma also started the first four games of the Premier League season where the Blues leaked nine goals, costing them points at Old Trafford and a two-goal lead at Sheffield United. It looked like Lampard’s side just couldn’t manage to keep the opposition out.
After a spell on the bench in mid-September, the 25-year-old has worked his way back into the frame and it’s been a huge factor in the Blues’ recent form, with him being rated over 7/10 on WhoScored in all but one of those past nine games. When a club fan page, The Blues, tweeted a picture of the Frenchman in the tunnel with the caption “Can y’all appreciate this man progression. He is rock solid!”, fans mentioned how impressed they’ve been with his improvement.

Chelsea fans, who should be in your centre-back partnership when Antonio Rudiger returns from injury?
