Chelsea fans have voiced their opinions on reports suggesting Callum Hudson-Odoi is set for a new extraordinary contract at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea fans may have thought not long ago that they would lose out on the youngster to German giants Bayern Munich, who have made multiple bids for him since last season (as told by the Daily Mail).
Previously, under Maurizio Sarri, Hudson-Odoi reportedly decided on moving to Munich in similar footsteps to his U17 World Cup-winning colleague Jadon Sancho, who has gone on to become one of Europe’s brightest youngsters at Borussia Dortmund.
However, it seems that the 18-year-old is set for a new bumper contract which will see him earn £180k-a-week as manager Frank Lampard continues to build his Chelsea side around English youth.
Currently, Hudson-Odoi is working his way back from injury and is set to return for Chelsea over the next few games.
So, how did the Blues fans react to these reports?
This isn’t right. If an 18 year old who:
is playing for his childhood
who will be a guaranteed starter
If he still needs 180k to stay, he clearly doesnt love the club enough
