Chelsea fans have been reminiscing over Joe Cole’s time at Stamford Bridge after he turned 38 years old.
Cole enjoyed some brilliant times for the west London side, however, his greatest goal, arguably, proved to be his strike against Manchester United in the 3-0 win that helped seal the Blues their second consecutive title in 2006.
After shrugging off Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic, the former England international fired the ball high past Edwin van der Sar (via BBC).
One of the funnier moments of his career was revealed in an interview about Jose Mourinho. Cole recalled how the Portuguese manager used to wind him up to provoke a reaction (via Coachesvoice.com).
The 38-year-old enjoyed a fine career at the west London giants, winning 10 major trophies, including back-to-back Premier League and FA Cup trophies (via Transfermarkt).
