Ashley Cole is widely regarded to be one of the best left-backs to have ever played the game. Indeed, he is arguably the best the Premier League has ever seen having won 13 major trophies throughout a glistening 20-year long playing career in the English top-flight.
The 38-year-old, who retired from the game earlier this year after a brief spell with Derby County in the Championship, played over 350 times for both Arsenal and Chelsea in the Premier League, winning the division three times, alongside the FA Cup seven times, the League Cup once, the Europa League and the Champions League (via Transfermarkt).
Cole is hailed a hero at Stamford Bridge for what he did for Chelsea during his career, and has recently rejoined the club in a coaching capacity, helping out with the Blues’ U15s team (via Sky Sports).
The former England international was recently snapped playing keepy-ups with an NFL ball. After the clip was uploaded to Twitter by Chelsea’s official account, it sent fans of the club on a trip down memory lane, with some still wishing that Cole played for them..
