Chelsea: Fans take aim at Kepa Arrizabalaga after he holds press conference

Chelsea fans decided to take a dig at Kepa Arrizabalaga on Twitter whilst he was on press conference duties ahead of their upcoming match with Valencia.

The Blues kick off their Champions League campaign with the home encounter against the La Liga outfit on Tuesday night.

The shot-stopper was interviewed ahead of the game shortly after Frank Lampard, and many of the Chelsea faithful decided to take a shot at the Spanish ‘keeper and call for him to improve his game when the two sides meet.

Although there were plenty of ‘the manager has arrived’ remarks (following his infamous bust-up with Maurizio Sarri in the League Cup final last season) on the Twitter thread, many of the supporters took to Twitter and decided to criticise his performances as of late.

Arrizabalaga (or Chelsea, in general), have conceded the second-most goals in the Premier League so far this season (with just Norwich City holding a poorer record than the Blues) – a statistic that will surely need to be improved upon as the campaign drives forward.
