Chelsea fans take to Twitter to lambaste Sarri for same old changes

Maurizio Sarri is a man under serious pressure. The Italian is being touted as the next Premier League manager to be sacked and it’s not hard to see why. Last night saw Chelsea bow out of the FA Cup without so much as a whimper and the fans have been slating their gaffer for his tactless setup and mundane in-game changes.

You have to give credit where credit is due, and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer got it spot on yesterday as his midfield diamond was too strong for a shocking Chelsea side. However, it must have been easy for the Norwegian knowing that Sarri would be making the same midfield changes in the second half as he has almost every game since the start of the season.

Yesterday’s clash saw Mateo Kovacic subbed off for Ross Barkley and it was the 6th time in the last ten matches that one of those two has come off for the other one. The writing looks to be on the wall for Sarri, his approach this season in swapping the 3-4-3 wing-back system to a 4-3-3 has proven to be a disaster and the sooner that the trophyless Italian is replaced the better as far as the Blues are concerned.

Chelsea fans have been suffering for a while now and are desperate to see Sarri sacked sooner rather later as he continues to cluelessly corrupt the club.
