Chelsea fans took to Twitter to marvel at Andreas Christensen last night

Chelsea fans had a field day yesterday. Having already tuned into Stade Rennais vs Arsenal to watch their closest rivals crumble in yet another away game, they travelled to Stamford Bridge to see Maurizio Sarri’s side hit Dynamo Kiev with both barrels. After the game, though, Andreas Christensen was the star that the fans were shouting about.
Let’s hear who your #CHEDYN man of the match was!

To be fair to Chelsea’s Twitter admin, it would look strange to include two centre-backs in the running for the man of the match award in a game that they won 3-0 and neither of the pair registered a goal or an assist. However, both David Luiz and Christensen were immense, and as far as the Blues were concerned Christensen was robbed to have not been included in the man of the match vote.
The four players chosen ahead of the Dane were Luiz, as previously mentioned, as well Olivier Giroud, Willian and Pedro, and the supporters don’t think that the four chosen are entirely fair. Barring a flashy free-kick, Willian was mostly ineffective and had far less of an impact on the game that Christensen, who was a rock all evening and kept out the Blues’ Ukrainian opposition with a touch of class at the back.

Pedro wasted a lot of chances i think your list should've included Christiansen and Zappa Costa instead of Willian and giroud

What is happening at #CFC?
Christensen is obviously the Man Of The Match, but couldn’t make the cut.
Do we just base it only on big names?— ONIYIDE AJIBOLA (@ajie4jyzzie) 8 March 2019
What the heck willian, David Luiz is in lists instead of the Barkley, Christensen or kovacic

The Blues would have loved to have seen Christensen rewarded for his efforts last night, although the performance was alone will have been enough to have pleased them.
