Chelsea favourite to be offered surprise managerial post

terryChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern still haven’t got used to the idea of being without captain John Terry next season- and there’s been chuckles of laughter after indications he could move into a senior position.

The Daily Mirror states Terry will be offered a swift route into management this summer, with the 35-year-old lined-up as a candidate to manager Danish side Brondby.

Owned by Terry’s friend Jan Bech Andersen, the wealthy owner is looking to make the former England captain a high-profile appointment and it would see Chelsea fans avoid the pain of seeing their club legend don the shirt of another club.

However, Terry could be offered a player/coach role by Andersen, who has the funds available to lure Terry to Denmark- although our landlord believes this is the most unlikely piece of news gossip he’s read this year.

It’s certainly one for Terry to think about though.

Chelsea fans, would Terry make a good manager? Let us know in the comments below!
