The Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are loving this player’s commitment…
Despite slipping to a 2-0 deficit, the Chelsea fans in the Tavern were delighted when their side recovered to beat Leicester City 4-2 in the EFL Cup last night.
It was touted by many in the Tavern as a return to form, with the Blues showing the fight and character that they so desperately lacked last season.
However, amongst the excitement and delight following the victory; one Chelsea fan in the Tavern had a slight concern when the final whistle blew.
He noted that when Michy Batshuayi was substituted he looked particularly angry – which he inferred as a sign that the Belgian is unhappy with the bit-part role that he has had with the Blues so far.
The news was slowly creeping around the Tavern, and now the Belgian forward himself has commented on it…
When questioned on whether he was happy that he was substituted, Batshuayi responded: “Never when my job is not done”.

The Chelsea fans in the Tavern have taken a few things away from this Tweet.
Firstly, it is definitely showing that he is committed to the team; which is something that they absolutely love.
However, perhaps more concerningly – it seems to imply that he was unhappy about substitution, which might eventually lead to a falling out between Conte and Batshuayi.
Our landlord thinks it is important not to jump to conclusions on the matter – but it is definitely something to keep an eye on.
