Chelsea fans here in the Tavern are hoping to see a managerial appointment in the near future as Antonio Conte continues to edge towards an inevitable exit.

The Blues won’t want a repeat of last season as they missed out on a Champions League place due to inconsistencies throughout the campaign. Although, it looks as if Chelsea are closing in on a managerial appointment and a possible signing, as according to Sun Sport, Chelsea are to appoint Maurizio Sarri this week and push through a £27 million deal for Aleksandr Golovin.
