Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have a wry smile after being told of the latest claim from the Daily Mail.
The publication have claimed that the Blues are planning a triple raid on Atletico Madrid and fancy landing what seems to be half of their team.
Much like Paris Saint-Germain eyeing half the Chelsea side, it seems that not only does Jose Mourinho have plans to bring in Diego Costa, but he also wants to land Tiago on a free and Filipe Luis as part of the £50 million deal to bring Costa to the club.
Chelsea know Tiago well given the midfielder used to play for the club but we cannot help but think that the Portuguese star could well be a replacement for Frank Lampard.
Mourinho will also consider the idea of bringing goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois back to the club making that an incredible four Atletico players he is targeting in one summer.
Quite what Diego Simeone thinks of this remains to be seen and the Argentine is fiery at the best of times as displayed during last weekend’s Champions League Final!
Of Courtois, Filipe Luis, Tiago and Costa, just who will be arriving at Stamford Bridge this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
