The French outfit have seemingly started to try to poach all their players with David Luiz the first player on the way to France and Oscar and Eden Hazard also tipped for moves to the Parc Des Princes.
But the Chelsea fans can’t cry too much because Chelsea have done exactly the same over the past few years and are doing pretty much the same thing with Atletico Madrid.
And according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea may finally be able to get earn a transfer victory over the French side after making an approach for their Argentine forward Ezequiel Lavezzi.
It is believed Chelsea made the approach for the ex-Napoli striker in between negotiations for David Luiz and they’re confident that the move can happen.
The West London club have already secured an agreement to sign Diego Costa this summer but there is still room for more attacking options with Chelsea keen to offload Fernando Torres, Demba Ba and Samuel Eto’o.
But it’s not just in attack where Chelsea are hoping to tie up some new players.
Luiz’s move to the Parisian giants has freed up a lot of funds and space for a centre back and Mourinho has already targeted Real Madrid defender Raphael Varane.
Varane was brought to Real Madrid from Lens in 2011 by Mourinho himself during his tenure there and he’s previously described him as the best young centre back in the world.
And it would be no surprise to see the French centre back link up with Mourinho’s men after the World Cup in Brazil.
Chelsea fans. Would the capture of Lavezzi suggest that Mourinho is willing to entertain Hazard moving to pastures new this summer? Let us know your thoughts below.
