Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see the club have adopted a strict approach in regards to one forward, who’s endured a miserable spell at Stamford Bridge.
The Daily Mirror states the Blues have informed Radamel Falcao he has no chance of remaining with the Premier League giants beyond his loan spell and the Colombian will return to parent club Monaco this summer.
Falcao has endured a torrid two years in the Premier League, with his woeful season at Chelsea coming after an equalling disappointing time with Manchester United, and the once highly-rated south American has struggled to find his way back to top form.
Whilst Falcao had hope he may be given a second chance by incoming boss Antonio Conte, Chelsea have no interest in extending his loan deal and that opens the door for Serie A giants Roma, who are interested in his services.
Monaco are unlikely to keep Falcao upon his return this summer as they’re keen to get the high-earner off their wage bill and Roma seems the most likely destination for the former Atletico Madrid and Porto powerhouse.
