Chelsea join Manchester United in chase for clinical Premier League striker

kaneeeeyChelsea supporting punters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are looking at the news from the Daily Mail in shock – with the publication suggesting that the Blues are joining Man United in the race to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane.

Kane has recently started to rekindle his goalscoring form for Mauricio Pochettino’s side, and this has seemingly alerted Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.

Our resident Chelsea fans here inside the Transfer Tavern are actually really excited about this news, with them all agreeing that the 22-year-old is only going to get better, so Kane would be a good immediate purchase, yet also a long-term solution for the striker’s position.

Our landlord here in the Tavern feels that this would be a major move from Chelsea, and says Spurs should do everything in their power to keep the England international at White Hart Lane.

The publication suggests that Manchester United are also vying for the signature of the Tottenham ace, and this has got a couple of our Red Devils fans here in the Tavern pretty buzzing too!
