The Telegraph have managed to get Chelsea fans looking up with sad expressions on their faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern after the publication claimed that the Blues were on the brink of selling Petr Cech to Arsenal.
According to Chelsea goalkeeping coach Christophe Lollichon, who is also a close friend of Cech’s, the rumours about the player wanting to remain in London are true, with Cech ready to force through a move to Arsenal in order to keep his family settled, and really, we can’t blame him with this, and after all his service on behalf of the Blues, to allow him to leave and actually stay in London is the least the Champions League final hero deserves.
Lollichon also claimed that Tottenham Hotspur star Hugo Lloris could well be on his way to Manchester United to replace David De Gea, who is of course all but in a Real Madrid shirt.
Chelsea fans. Are you dead set against Cech being allowed to join one of your biggest rivals or is it something you think needs to happen for the player to be happy? Let us know your thoughts below.
