It has not been the best week for Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern, with the club seeing their players criticised and the league table hardly making for good reading, and according to the Daily Mail, it could be about to get worse.
According to the publication, John Terry, who was of course dropped at half time by manager Jose Mourinho in the clash with Manchester City, is a target for Fenerbache.
We certainly cannot see the defender going to another Premier League side like Frank Lampard and Petr Cech, but one thing we could see would be him taking a huge final money pay day abroad, should Chelsea refuse to offer him a new deal.
At the minute, Terry looks a bit shaky, but so do the whole Chelsea defence, and after his heroics last term, our landlord feels it would be foolish to write him off – with Jose Mourinho knowing just how influential his skipper is on and off the field.
Chelsea fans. Would Terry leaving be the final straw? How long do you think he has left in him? Let us know your thoughts below!
