There are interested faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it is claimed by the Daily Express that Chelsea target Viktor Fischer is also being tracked by Manchester United.
The young player has been impressive after breaking into the Ajax first team and now it seems that he is on the radar of the recently crowned Premier League champions as well as the Blues.
The club were thought to be interested in the player even before he broke into the Ajax first team and given that in 26 appearances for the Amsterdam Arena-based club this season the player has netted nine times it is no shock that his list of admirers is growing even longer.
Sir Alex Ferguson is willing to fight for the Denmark international and given that United have more stability in terms of their manager and a better reputation for bringing players through the club could well be edging Chelsea out in the race for the 18-year-old. Now however it seems that Ajax will not be willing to let their star asset go without a fight and will look to keep the player for at least the foreseeable future, and especially given they may well reluctantly part with national compatriot Christian Eriksen this summer too.
