This is as the Daily Star report that one Premier League legend has claimed that we could well be about to see another player arrive on our shores whom will be trying to achieve his own legendary status.
David Ginola was speaking about the future of Radamel Falcao, who is being chased by a host of top English sides, despite his move to tax free haven Moncao last summer.
As with PSG’s Edinson Cavani, the shock moves have not gone as the players would have hoped and now the constant links to the Premier League are emerging with a vengeance every day.
Ginola claimed: “I expected him to go to one of the clubs in England but he’s still young and he has plenty of options in his career.
“His future could lie in Spain, Monaco or England. It’s too early to decide his future now but, why not [move]? Everyone wants to play in England.
“He could play for anyone.”
Whilst we in the tavern are in full support of this, one of our punters notes that Falcao is currently out for a lengthy spell on the sidelines after injuring his ligaments.
Before the likes of Jose Mourinho or David Moyes spend the huge amount it would take to land the player, we would like to make sure he makes a full recovery first.
Which Premier League team is most in need of Falcao’s supreme striking abilities? Let us know your thoughts below.
