Chelsea midfielder edging closer to sealing deal to join European giants

CuadradoChelsea supporting punters here in the Transfer Tavern are deliberating the news they have just read in Metro – with the publication suggesting that Juan Cuadrado is closing in on a permanent move to Juventus for £14.7 million.

Our resident Chelsea fans enjoying a pint of the Transfer Tavern’s special edition ale today feel that Cuadrado was not given a fair chance at Stamford Bridge, and wish he was given more game time by boss Jose Mourinho!

Our landlord here in the Tavern feels that the winger just couldn’t adapt to life in the Premier League, and it is clear that Italian football suits the Colombian midfielder a lot more.

Cuadrado, who is currently on loan at Serie A giants Juventus, has impressed considerably during his time in Turin, and a permanent deal between the two clubs looks like it is going to materialise.

One Chelsea fan over in the corner here in the Transfer Tavern feels that Mourinho has made a huge mistake letting Cuadrado and Salah go, and feel they both would have helped the club’s current form!

Chelsea fans….. What do you make of this news? Gutted? Happy? Not bothered? Let us know your thoughts and opinions in the comments below!
