Chelsea players at war with each other as struggles continue

FabregasThe Chelsea fans thought they’d enjoy a quiet breakfast in the Transfer Tavern before heading off to work but it’s rapidly turning into a morning filled with vast concerns, as sensational reports emerge from Stamford Bridge.

The Sun states the Chelsea players are turning on under-fire manager Jose Mourinho, whilst they’re also extremely unhappy with underperforming duo Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas.

Chelsea suffered the ninth defeat of their Premier League campaign on Monday evening to leave them just one point above the relegation zone, with the embarrassing prospect of finding themselves in the bottom three over Christmas- should results go against them this weekend.

It now seems there is no way back for disgraced manager Mourinho, who’s season has gone from bad to worse, and a source condemned the Portuguese boss’ latest controversial quotes.

“That sort of comment is interpreted as Jose trying to distance himself from the result and the performance, whether it is right or not.”

Mourinho claimed he was ‘betrayed’ by his players following the defeat to Leicester and the squad aren’t too happy with two of his squad either.

Players are unhappy that Diego Costa got away with throwing his bib at Mourinho previously and that he appeared to gesture the defence was sleeping for Jamie Vardy’s opening goal on Monday.

On top of that, former Barcelona and Arsenal man Cesc Fabregas is under-fire having offered little to the team this season.
