There are a fair few interested faces here in the Football Transfer Tavern as it seems a host of Premier League clubs are after Luis Suarez – well according to the Daily Mail at least.
The controversial forward – who was a hero for his prolific goalscoring at Liverpool – could well be set for a very early exit from Barcelona after failing to impress since his big money summer move.
Whilst he may have left the Premier League once, Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal and even Manchester City are all monitoring the situation to make sure that should Barcelona be willing to part with the troublesome forward, they are willing to pounce.
Now as one of our punters notes, we cannot see City moving for Suarez given they are closing in on a deal for Swansea City forward Wilfried Bony but Chelsea and Arsenal are sure to be alerted with their striking needs appearing more greater.
Manchester United meanwhile could well move for Suarez should they decide to let Radamel Falcao return to Monaco and we can only imagine how that will go down in Liverpool!
Chelsea fans. Would signing Suarez be the biggest coup you could think of bar Lionel Messi? Let us know your thoughts below.
