Chelsea preparing £130m spending spree this summer

Roman AbramovichThe Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are hopeful of wholesale changes this summer to improve their struggling side and it seems they will get their wishes, which has built up excitement around the bar.

The Sun states Roman Abramovich is readying a huge transfer kitty of £130m for this summer’s activity, which could be boosted by any sales that Chelsea complete within the next window.

Chelsea are in danger of losing their key-men as they look set to miss out on Champions League football but a £130m war-chest, which may be bolstered by sales of Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and others, would allow the Blues to build a quality side.

Reports state that Abramovich is targeting four superstar signings, with Bayern Munich’s Arturo Vidal and Everton’s John Stones top of Chelsea’s wish-list.

Stones was heavily linked with a move to Stamford Bridge last summer, whilst Vidal has been linked with Chelsea due to a potential reunion with former Juventus boss Antonio Conte- who’s widely reported to be the next manager.

Our landlord feels that Chelsea need these sort of funds available come the end of the season but he’s questioning whether the Blues can genuinely attract four top-class players with no Champions League football on the table.

Chelsea fans, can you secure FOUR superstars this summer or is that too much to ask? Let us know in the comments below!
