There are some interesting reports in the Football Transfer Tavern this evening as Neil Fissler from The Express suggests that Chelsea will bid £30 million in an attempt to land Southampton’s young full back Luke Shaw.
He suggests that Jose Mourinho is looking at the 18-year-old as a possible long-term replacement for Ashley Cole at Stamford Bridge.
The England centurion is reaching the end of his career with the Blues and Mourinho is thought to be searching for his successor, with the Saints teenager reportedly top of his wishlist.
The England Under-21 international has secured a place in n Mauricio Pochettino’s impressive team at St. Mary’s and he is being tipped for a huge future in the game.
