Chelsea set to complete £125m triple swoop to bolster European hopes next season

The Chelsea supporters here in the Football Transfer Tavern are still in celebratory mood following the club’s emphatic Premier League title win last season and some positive transfer news looks like being on the horizon too.

The landlord’s copy of The Telegraph features a piece which states that the Blues are about to complete a £125 million triple deal to secure Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko, Roma defender Antonio Rudiger and Juventus full-back Alex Sandro.

The spending isn’t an issue with the Blues faithful here in the Tavern, with many of them believing that a splurge on recruits is needed, especially when their rivals have been throwing the money around too.

Brazilian full-back Sandro is perhaps the most intriguing of the signings to arrive at Stamford Bridge, with the 26-year-old becoming the club’s record signing at £60 million.

Chelsea will be desperate to be a force both domestically and on the international stage next season and boss Antonio Conte is clearly keen to ensure that his squad is well stocked in all departments.

The first three through the door might not be the last and if Diego Costa does decide to move on this summer another striker might also be on Conte’s list of targets.

One Chelsea fan is chatting to his pals this morning in the Tavern and he believes that these three signings will be class for the Blues, stating that it looks set to be another exciting season for the club in 2017/18.

Chelsea fans, are you happy with these three arrivals? Let us know in the comments below!!!
