The Daily Express have not helped matters with Chelsea fans now being told that unless Paris Saint-Germain land Paul Pogba, they could well miss out on one of their top targets Adrien Rabiot.
The 18-year-old starlet has been a target of the Blues for the last few months, with their scouts going to watch the player several times.
Now however, it seems that they could well miss out on landing their target, after PSG admitted that unless they managed to land Paul Pogba, Rabiot will be going nowhere for at foreseeable future at the very least.
Pogba himself is hot property, and as our punters lament, someone we would really like to see up close and personal in the Premier League. We of course would have had this opportunity had Manchester United not let him leave Old Trafford.
Chelsea have also been linked with a move for Juventus’ Paul Pogba, and could well find that revisiting that option may well produce a better outcome than chasing a player who either will not be allowed to move, or is likely to be used as a makeweight in another deal.
Rabiot is also being tracked by Real Madrid, and despite only scoring one goal this season and struggling to secure first team football, is still highly coveted.
