With a new dawn beckoning for Chelsea following the addition of new manager Maurizio Sarri at Stamford Bridge, the Blues fans will be hoping to see their side back amongst Champions League and title contention over the coming 12 months.

Sarri is expected to bring with him a host of new signings, and this is just what the Chelsea fans will want to see from their manager.

The former Napoli manager is a respected coach in world football and did a grand job in Naples, and he will be hoping to turn Chelsea's fortunes round and bring title winning days back to the Bridge.

However, new signings will 100% be needed if the Blues are to topple City at the top of the table, and we at the Transfer Tavern think that we have found a few players at this summer's World Cup who can do a job at the Bridge.

One such player is French World Cup winner Benjamin Pavard, who was simply superb in his run during the tournament, including scoring one of the goals of the tournament.

Pavard has seen his value sky rocket to £36m, according to valuations on Transfermarkt, and he would no doubt be an excellent addition to the ranks at Stamford Bridge.

The 22-year-old proved himself adept at world level, and with the ability to play across the back four with ease, he is an attractive proposition. Chelsea would be silly to not make a move for a player of Pavard's quality, and he would be a shrewd addition to add to the Sarri revolution.

Chelsea fans, what do you think? Good signing? Let us know in the comments!
