Chelsea manager Antonio Conte will be hoping to get a big budget this summer as he looks to reshape his squad and bring in some big names and quality players to address what has been a poor season on the whole this time out.
The Blues have a rich history of signing players for huge sums and ensuring they remain competitive, and over the years we have seen the club bring in the likes of Fernando Torres, David Luiz, and more recently, Alvaro Morata to try and improve the squad.
With a squad already full of talent, our landlord here in the Tavern thinks that the Blues aren’t too far away from being back in and among the mix for the Premier League title, and he thinks they should go out and sign Juventus star Paulo Dybala.
Valued at £90m by Transfermarkt, the 24-year-old Argentine has once again been in formidable form for Juventus, smashing in 21 goals this season as the Turin club close in on yet another Serie A title.
Dybala is one of the few players in world football at the moment who would comfortably walk into any team in the world, and Chelsea could make massive use of his talents if they can indeed snap him up.
He will cost a fortune, but that is what clubs need to pay nowadays, and if Chelsea are to begin to challenge City, then this is the sort of market and player the club need to be looking into.
Chelsea fans what do you think? Would Dybala be a good signing? Let us know!
