Chelsea star hints at summer exit to join European giant

HazardChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have furiously stormed out this afternoon, after hearing quotes from a star-player that suggest he’s eying a controversial exit on the eve of a massive European tie.

Metro quotes Eden Hazard as stating it would be difficult to turn down Paris Saint-Germain, on the eve of Chelsea’s huge Champions League Round of 16 clash against the French giants.

Hazard arrived at Stamford Bridge in 2012 for a £32m fee, arriving from Ligue 1 side Lille, but it appears the Belgian international is contemplating a return to French football as he opened the door for PSG to make a move.

‘It’s hard to say no to PSG – as with all the teams capable of winning the Champions League. Now PSG are part of this category. And, for me, winning the Champions League is the main objective. But for now, I do not dwell on it.’

Hazard has been heavily linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge at the end of the season, particularly with the Blues looking set to miss out on Champions League football next term, and our landlord believes an exit is inevitable.
