The Daily Express have stunned us here in the Football Transfer Tavern.
The publication claim that Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a triple swoop that could rock the footballing world.
The Ligue 1 side are able to buy anyone they want in theory, having more cash than the majority of clubs can dream of having in a lifetime.
Now the Parisians want to add three more stars boosting their squad even further with Laurent Blanc already having the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani at his disposal.
Chelsea fans are looking least pleased by this rumour as one of the three players identified is Eden Hazard – their star man – and the winger who Jose Mourinho has identified as the player to become his next Cristiano Ronaldo.
Hazard is some way off being considered in the same bracket as Ronaldo but has seen his reputation sky rocket since his move from Lille and would be worth around £34 million – at the very least.
The Blues and manager Jose Mourinho would of course fight tooth and nail to hold onto the Belgian but money talks and Hazard is of course familiar with Ligue 1.
PSG are also eyeing a move for Juventus’ Paul Pogba who is on the most wanted list of a whole host of clubs including Chelsea themselves and Arsenal.
Juventus have admitted they could well sell the box-to-box player should the right offer come in and PSG can certainly afford to make it.
The final part of the trio comes in the shape of Real Madrid’s young starlet Raphael Varane who despite being out for the majority of this season with injury has proven to be on of the best young defenders in the world.
Chelsea fans. Do PSG stand any chance in luring tricky winger Hazard to France? Let us know your thoughts below.
