It is a busy time for Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern and most of that is down to the Daily Mail.
The Blues are not only trying to bring players in, but have seen David Luiz subject to a bid believed in be in excess of £40 million from Paris Saint-Germain.
Now it seems that not only is Luiz keen on the move, but Chelsea are also happy to sell him at that price.
Our punters agree that for anyone that is crazy money and when you consider the fact that Mourinho will mainly be playing the defender in the middle of the park as a back-up option, it certainly seems like a good idea to sell.
Luiz is thought to be in advanced talks with PSG – and has even undergone and passed a medical in Brazil ahead of the move.
The Brazilian has formalised the personal terms needed so he can get down and dirty preparing for the World Cup where he will of course be representing the home nation in his favoured position at centre back.
Chelsea fans. Do you think that the money being offered for Luiz is crazy? Are you so keen to sell at that price that you would go down to West London and pack his house up for him? Let us know your thoughts below.
