lampard.jpgChelsea fans in the Football transfer tavern aren’t at all happy with how their club have handled the Frank Lampard contract saga.

Lampard is Chelsea’s all-time top goal scorer with 211 goals since joining in 2001 at the beginning of the Roman Abramovich era.

In that time he won the Champions League, three Premier League titles and a Europa League titles.

But according to the Daily Mail, he’s not been given hope of signing a new deal with the West London club and is instead planning on a move to North America.

The former West Ham United midfielder reportedly spent the day negotiating with new Major League Soccer franchise New York City – the club linked with Manchester City.

He’ll reportedly earn £5 million at the club and he’s likely to be joined by former Barcelona striker David Villa at the club who are showing a real signal of intent.

But sources close to Lampard have denied that a deal had already been completed.
