Chelsea star: To become a big player, I need to start doing this more often

The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are confident ahead of their next clash against Middlesbrough…

It is a game that carries so much significance, and a win will take Chelsea to within 3 points of securing a famous Premier League title win.

One player, however, feels as though he needs to continue to impress and start making more of an impact in big games, and that man is Eden Hazard. A player that is arguably back to his best after a tough year, the Belgian has revealed exactly what he thinks he needs to do in order to progress.

According to the Evening Standard, he said: “It’s my job to score big goals, it doesn’t matter who we play against, Manchester United, Arsenal or whoever, I try to score every game.  If I want to be considered a big player I need to score in big games”.

Certainly, whilst Hazard has impressed this year, there is a lot of improvements that can be still be made. He is excellent with the ball at his feet, and has improved defensively, but his goalscoring record still needs to improve. He has begun that process this season, but our landlord thinks that he really needs to kick on next year.

Chelsea take on Middlesbrough this evening.
