The Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern think that Chelsea’s squad is near-perfect…
Chelsea are doing well in the Premier League, and given the fact that Antonio Conte rarely opts to rotate his team in the Premier League, a lack of depth isn’t exactly a major concern for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern.
The Italian, though, is seemingly less confident – with the Blues linked earlier today with a move for Inter Milan winger Jonathan Biabiany.
A 28-year-old winger, Jonathan Biabiany is not a regular for Milan – and so Antonio Conte was reportedly eyeing a short-term loan move for him.
However, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the deal is not one that Chelsea have been successful with. Romano has noted, on his official Twitter, that Chelsea offered the player a 6-month loan deal – which the player has rejected. Interestingly, he also notes that the player is seeking a move to China.

The Chelsea fans in the Tavern are actually pretty pleased with this, as they didn’t think that Biabiany was the sort of player that Antonio Conte should be going after. After all, he has yet to even feature in Serie A so far this season, and the Premier League is far more competitive than the Italian top flight.
With less than 12 hours to go until the window slams shut, Antonio Conte is running out of time to bring in offensive depth – if that is what he wants.
