Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are pleased to see a top-target of theirs is considering a move to Stamford Bridge, with two of their current stars trying to talk the midfielder into a switch.
The Telegraph states Chelsea’s Belgian pairing Thibaut Courtois and Eden Hazard have discussed a potential move to Stamford Bridge with Radja Nainggolan, with the Roma ace admitting his international colleagues are trying to persuade him to seal a switch.
“They (Hazard and Courtois) have told me to join them. I know Chelsea are a big club, but I have to take several things into account. It’s not easy to leave Italy behind after 12 years. I need to become better because of the transfer. In all ways. I won’t leave for a small difference.”
The trio are currently all preparing for Euro 2016 duty with Belgium, who are ranked as one of the favourites to win the tournament, and Nainggolan will have the chance to impress his potential new boss in the group stages when the Red Devils come head-to-head with Italy.
