Chelsea to allow January exit if substantial offer is received?

Andre SchurrleThe Daily Mail have Chelsea fans looking up with some serious interest here in the Football Transfer Tavern as the claim that the Blues are only willing to sell one of their players if a super offer comes in for them.

The West London club are currently navigating two knock-out fixtures in the space of four days but are also focusing on the January transfer window to boot.

With Andre Schurrle linked with the exit door after failing to impress this season, the Blues boss seemed to be in fighting spirits as he noted that ideally, the squad would stay the same throughout January and into February.

Mourinho was speaking about his January plans in his Friday press conference ahead of the FA Cup fourth round tie against Bradford City and noted: “The question is not to be allowed or not allowed. The question is to have a phenomenal offer and a player to be super keen of accept a new challenge in his career. We don’t want to sell our players.

“But for Schurrle to get a first team place he must start playing better than Eden Hazard and Willian.”

Now whilst we obviously believe the Chelsea boss, we also think that the Blues are chasing a couple of players and with Douglas Costa now issuing a come-and-get-me plea to the club, Schurrle’s days could well be numbered.

Chelsea fans. Would you consider letting Schurrle leave for the right price this January? Let us know your thoughts below.
