Chelsea to offer Player of the Year in exchange for Man United target

HazardChelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern have exploded in excitement this afternoon, delaying the next round of their darts tournament to discuss what could be their biggest transfer in history.

Metro state Chelsea are willing to let Eden Hazard join Real Madrid in the summer but only if they can land Gareth Bale in exchange.

New Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane, who replaced Rafael Benitez yesterday, is a huge fan of PFA Player of the Year Hazard- which has increased the likelihood of Los Blancos swooping for the Belgian sensation come the end of the season.

Chelsea are reluctant to lose Hazard, despite the player yet to score in the Premier League this season, but their stance would change if Bale become available- which could shatter Manchester United’s transfer dreams.

United have held long-term interest in Bale and have been mentioned in fresh reports today, which state the Red Devils will make a £75m swoop in the summer.

However, the possibility of having Eden Hazard as a direct replacement for Bale makes Chelsea the favourites in the eyes of many.

The feeling in the Transfer Tavern amongst punters and our bar staff is pretty unanimous, as the general belief is that Hazard will join Real Madrid eventually- so Chelsea would be better off accepting their fate and landing Bale.

Chelsea fans, would you swap Hazard for Gareth Bale? Let us know in the comments below!
