Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are disappointed to see the club has hit a major hitch in keeping their new boss happy, with the club blocking a move that Antonio Conte feels is very important.
One World Sports report that Chelsea have blocked Conte from making further changes to the backroom staff at Stamford Bridge, insisting that the general make-up of the team behind the scenes must remain intact.
Conte has already brought in four new faces, appointing Italy assistant coach Angelo Alessio, fitness coach Paolo Bertelli, strength and conditioning specialist Julio Tous, and brother Gianluca Conte as a tactical analyser.
However, Roman Abramovich won’t allow further changes to the team despite two key-men missing, as Conte is without training coaches Massimo Carrera and Mauro Sandreani, who have been influential to his make-up as boss of Juventus and Italy.
The duo have been crucial to implementing Conte’s rigorous demands to the squad at both his previous job positions and, without them, the Italian boss may struggle to create the team that he needs to at Stamford Bridge.
This news has really rattled our Chelsea fans, as they feel it’s pointless bringing in a new man if he doesn’t receive the backing that he needs to achieve his aims.
