Chelsea want to secure major £35m deal for Bundesliga defensive midfielder

Arturo Vidal Incoming Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has alredy lined-up his first transfer when he arrives at Stamford Bridge, with the Italian set to make a bid for Bayern Munich star Arturo Vidal, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

Chelsea are set to offer the German giants a fee in the region of £35 million for the defensive midfielder, who only arrived in Munich last summer.

Conte is eager to bolster his midfield options and appears to have identified the Chilean as the ideal candidate for the position.

A move to play under Conte at Stamford Bridge would see Vidal play for the Italian a second time, after the pair worked together with the Turin-based giants, Juventus.

One Chelsea fan is sat ready to tuck into his burger from the burger and pint meal deal menu and he thinks Vidal would be a superb addition to the Chelsea squad, although he does doubt whether or not he would sign for the Blues if they weren’t in the Champions League.

Chelsea fans, would you welcome Vidal into the current squad? Who would he replace?
