23-year-old keen on leaving Chelsea for London rival

A resounding 4-1 win over lower-league opposition in the FA Cup is exactly what the Chelsea fans propping up the bar in the Transfer Tavern needed after losing to bitter rivals Tottenham in a title clash last week.

While the 2-0 reversal at the Lane will clearly go down on their record, the Blues remain five points clear atop the Premier League and our west London locals are certain it would take a colossal collapse for them not to win the league.

The Stamford Bridge titans largely look imperious when at their best, spearheaded by the quite excellent Diego Costa under Antonio Conte right now.

In fact, the Spaniard is in such good form that he’s keeping £33m summer signing Michy Batshuayi out of the side in SW6 right now.

As a result, the Belgian was recently touted as a potential loan-makeweight in a deal to bring Swansea City forward Fernando Llorente to Chelsea this month, with Conte having worked with the World Cup winner at Juventus.

Still, Bleacher Report suggest the ex-Marseille man is cold on the idea of a move to the Liberty Stadium and would reportedly favour a loan switch across London to West Ham.

The Hammers were strongly linked with the 23-year-old before his move to Chelsea and have once again been touted as a potential destination.

Will he improve West Ham? Should Chelsea let him leave? Let us know below…
