23-year-old reveals he’ll talk to Chelsea this summer, open to a return move

With the Premier League title just a win away, it’s fair to say the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are in wonderful spirits right now.

Last night’s win over Middlesbrough is still being celebrated amongst our punters, though some of the more eagle-eyed drinkers have spotted reports suggesting a player could be set for a summer move away.

Speaking to the Bucks Free Press, Blues ‘keeper Jamal Blackman has suggested he’d be open to another loan move to Wycombe Wanderers. The 23-year-old proved a popular figure at Adams Park, keeping 17 clean sheets, though will return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

“If that’s an option (re-joining the side on loan) then definitely, I’ve feel like I’ve got unfinished business here,” he said.

“So, if there’s an option to come back here then I would certainly look into it.”

“I’ll go back to Chelsea now and sit down in the summer and see where I go from here.”

Having been included in many match day squads in recent season, he’s held in high regard by the Blues in the bar.

Still, with Thibaut Courtois and Asmir Begovic battling it out for the No.1 jersey, they believe Blackman could do with developing elsewhere.

With that in mind, they’d be delighted to see him given a chance elsewhere.
