£67m Chelsea deal for prolific forward to be decided this week

Having landed Michy Batshuayi already this summer, the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are dancing on the pool tables with the news a SECOND huge striker deal could still be on the cards.

According to the Evening Standard, the Blues will find out this week whether or not their monumental chase for Real Madrid forward Alvaro Morata will be successful.

Though the Spaniard was expected to remain with Los Blancos, the club’s vast array of illustrious attacking talent could see his standing in the Spanish capital reduced.

New boss Antonio Conte is reportedly desperate to pair the 23-year old with compatriot Diego Costa in his new look formation and will offer him guaranteed first-team football at Stamford Bridge.

It is claimed that a bid of £67m could tempt the Champions League winners into a sale, with a meeting between the La Roja ace and Zinedine Zidane scheduled.

Morata would like assurances over first-team football this season and will seek a move should he not be given them.

Would Morata win Chelsea the league? Let us know below….
