Chelsea patrons in the Transfer Tavern have spent the last few days debating where John Terry will end up next season.
The Blues legend announced on Monday that he’ll leave Stamford Bridge when his contract expires at the end of the campaign, having slipped down the pecking order since Antonio Conte was appointed manager last summer.
Terry’s last Premier League outing came during a 2-2 defeat to Swansea City in September and in his absence, Conte’s three-man defence has helped transform the Blues back into the Premier League’s most dominant force.
According to reports from The Daily Star, the 36-year-old looking to sign for another top flight club this summer should they offer wages of around £80k per-week.
West Brom were strongly linked with the former England skipper yesterday by Mirror Football and The Daily Star document their interest once again, but moot Swansea City as fellow potential suitors – depending on whether they stay in the Premier League.
Terry has only made five Premier League appearances this season but remains on course to claim a fifth domestic title with the west Londoners, having already amassed a Champions League title, a Europa League title, five FA Cups and four League Cups.
