Chelsea fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are eagerly awaiting news of the names of the players that will follow the arrival of Michy Batshuayi, and it’s looking like a big announcement is on the horizon.
According to reports in The Sun, the Blues boss, Antonio Conte is preparing a massive £80m swoop for two key signings to bolster his side.
Despite having been offered a new contract by his current side, Leicester’s N’Golo Kante looks destined for Stamford Bridge with a fee of around £30m agreed for the Frenchman.
As well as the Premier League champion, the Italian boss is looking to bring in Senegalese defender, Kalidou Koulibaly, to add to his options in defence.
The 25-year-old won’t come cheap though, with current side Napoli reportedly demanding a fee of £50m to let go of their man.
It is clear that Conte means business and is looking to battle for the title next season, having already splashed a reported £33m on Belgian striker, Michy Batshuayi. Should the £80m double deals go through the Blues will have already made major waves early in the transfer window.
