The rivalry between Arsenal and Chelsea is one that seemingly grows ever bitter with every passing meeting, as North and West London collide.
However, the capital counterparts have crossed paths in the transfer market in recent years, with the likes of Ashley Cole and Petr Cech moving across the Big Smoke in controversial deals.
Now, the punters in the Transfer Tavern have been treated to another tidbit of transfer activity between the two.
Incoming Stamford Bridge chief Antonio Conte is understood to be aiming to bring his own stopper tutor in as he plots his major rebuild in West London.
The Belgian shares a good relationship with Cech, who recommended him upon his arrival in 2003, though has fallen out with current Chelsea ace Thibaut Courtois in the past.
Conte, meanwhile is believed to want to bring in Gianluca Spinelli, who he worked with in the Italian national setup.
