Welcome back Leeds fans. Ever since Marco Bielsa's introduction as Leeds manager, Leeds fans have been kept busy in the Transfer Tavern.

The Argentinian manager is keen to make a few changes to the club ahead of the upcoming season. The former Lille and Marseille manager loves to have plenty of creative players for his team. Famously, Bielsa instituted a 3-3-1-3 formation at Lille and at Leeds he will likely try to do something similar and one player who is now being linked with a move to the club is Chelsea man, Lewis Baker.

The Breakdown

The Mirror has reported that Leeds have made a move to snap up Chelsea's perennial loanee, Lewis Baker.

The 23-year-old midfielder has never been given a real chance at the club although he was a standout performer during his years in the academy. Baker spent a year on loan with Middlesbrough last season where he managed 14 appearances and scored two goals. Before that he spent loan spells with Sheffield Wednesday and MK Dons. His most successful loan spell, however, was his two-year loan with Dutch side, Vitesse Arnhem where he played 73 games, scoring 20 goals and 11 assists according to Transfermarkt.

The midfielder has a contract which runs until 2022 but could well look for a move away this summer as his Chelsea career looks bleak.

A permanent transfer could be great business for Leeds for a 23-year-old who is still highly-rated and has tonnes of experience for his age. Even if Leeds could get the Chelsea man on loan, Bielsa would have a talented midfielder to help craft his new-look team.

So Leeds fans - should Bielsa bring Baker in?
