Chelsea fans have reacted in a mixed fashion to rumours linking Philippe Coutinho with a move to Stamford Bridge.

Coutinho was a major figure in the Premier League with Liverpool, but since joining Barcelona in 2018, the Brazilian has struggled to find consistent form. 21 goals in 76 games for the La Liga giants over two seasons saw Coutinho deemed surplus to requirements last summer, moving out on loan to Bundesliga side Bayern Munich.

With Coutinho's future seemingly up for debate this summer, links of a return to England have now begun with Chelsea at the forefront of such reports.

Such reports have gained pace over the last few days with journalist Nicola Schira via Spanish media outlet Sport claiming have taken place between Chelsea and Coutinho's representatives.

Barca, who are keen to make a couple of significant signings this summer, could be looking to sell a number of players to fund potential moves for Neymar and Lautaro Martinez, who have been linked in the last few weeks.
