Chelsea agree to let important man leave on one condition

Life’s pretty good for the Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern right now, who’ve enjoyed watching their side rise to the top of the Premier League amid a fantastic run of form.

Though the Blues clearly spent big money in the summer, the fact their upturn in performances have come as a direct result of tactical tinkering have made them even more satisfying to watch.

Under Antonio Conte, the west London titans look to have a strong sense of unity and his impressive backroom staff have helped him find a brand new system to take on England’s elite.

Still, according to the Daily Mail, things could well be about to change in SW6.

They’ve revealed assistant manager Steve Holland is likely to join Gareth Southgate’s England setup, who reportedly want him to join on a full-time basis.

Conte, however, is understood to be keen to only allow him to go on a part-time basis, so as not to disrupt the season Chelsea are currently having.

Having said that, the two parties are believed to have reached a compromise, with Holland prepared to take up a dual role between now and the end of the season, before joining the Three Lions’ setup full-time in the summer.
